Auf die Frage der Mutter, ob Elsi vielleicht gesehen wurde, antwortet eines der Kinder kraftvoll und selbstbewusst, ja frech: ?Nee, mit uns ist sie nicht mitgekommen. Beim Zuschauer stellt sich wegen Elsis Unbedarftheit die Frage nach einer mögli-chen Mitschuld der Mutter am Verschwinden der Tochter.
